Reza Ghodssi is a Distinguished University Professor and the Herbert Rabin Distinguished Chair in Engineering in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering and the Institute for Systems Research. His research focuses on the design and development of micro-, nano-, and bio-devices and systems for chemical and biological sensing, as well as small-scale energy conversion and harvesting—particularly with applications in healthcare.
