Research Focus: Host–Pathogen Interactions
Norberto Gonzalez-Juarbe is an associate professor of cell biology and molecular genetics. His research focuses on oncolytic viruses and the effects of infectious diseases on the gut microbiome and organ proteomes in both in vitro and in vivo models. Gonzalez-Juarbe's lab investigates programmed cell death pathways and works to uncover the mechanisms that drive these responses during bacterial infections.
